MALCOLM BENNETT RENEWS TERM AS APARTMENT ASSOCIATION PRESIDENT (LONG BEACH, January 7, 2008) – Malcolm Bennett, a 33 year veteran of estate and property management will be returning for a second term as President of the Apartment Association, California Southern Cities, for the 2008.

Malcolm Bennett serves as the Owner and Broker for International Realty and Investments since 1975, a firm that specializes in property management and investment property sales, with offices in both Los Angeles and Long Beach.

In 2001, Malcolm Bennett received the Apartment Association, California Southern Cities (AACSC) Industry Leader of the Year Award for his outstanding service to the rental housing community. Bennett is also a member of the Los Angeles County Tax Appeals Board; president and founder of the Minority Apartment Owners Association; chairman of the Inglewood Rental Property Owners Association; and Immediate Past President of the Board of South Central Los Angeles Regional Center for the Disabled.  He was also the 2005 President of the Rancho Southeast Association of REALTORS®.
