Malcolm Bennett has been the broker/owner of International Realty & Investments since 1975. His firm specializes in property management and investment property sales with offices in Los Angeles and Long Beach. In 2001 he received the Apartment Association, California Southern Cities (AACSC) Industry Leader of the Year Award for outstanding service to the rental housing community.

“We don’t build and operate buildings in this industry, we create communities and neighborhoods,” Bennett said about the apartment industry. “We improve the quality of life.”
Mr. Bennett serves as a State Court Receiver for real estate properties in Los Angeles, Orange and Riverside counties and an Expert Witness for the Los Angeles Superior Court for real property valuation.
He is a member of the Los Angeles County Tax Appeals Board; President-Founder of the Minority Apartment Owners Association; Chairman of the Inglewood Rental Property Owners Association; and Immediate Past President of the Board of South Central Los Angeles Regional Center for the Disabled.
He was the 2005 President of the Rancho Southeast Association of REALTORS®, and the 2004 Chair of the California non-profit Housing Providers Coalition, a statewide group of apartment associations.
He also teaches a property management class at Cerritos College. He is the Vice Chairman of Federal Issues Committee and has served on the property management committee of the California Association of REALTORS® and is a member of various committees of the National Association of REALTOR®. He received his formal education from California State University, Los Angeles with a major in Business Administration. He is also a licensed contractor.
At the recent Installation Luncheon, 2006 President Geoff McIntosh received legislative accolades from elected officials. Proclamations were presented from Congressman Dana Rohrabacher.
